My Top Ten Change Quotes of all Time

To change or not to change? This has to be one of THE biggest questions any human being has to tackle consistently throughout their lives.

Consciously or unconsciously, change is laid before us in everything we do, everything we encounter and everything we are about to encounter. Most importantly, change of any type is inevitable if we are to progress, move away or forward from the status quo and wish or need to see different results.

So change, albeit sometimes a pain in the but-torks to get moving, is a good thing right?  Unless that is, that you are content with the status quo and the continuance of existing amidst the status quo brings absolutely no detriment...

Many people over the years have attempted to frame what change is and what it means to embrace or snub, in the form of quotes. Below are some of my particularly favourite change focussed quotes of all time. Feel free to add yours to the list as a comment.

  1. Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better. ~ Sydney J. Harris

  5. There is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things. ~  Niccolo Machiavelli

Finally and as an added extra, didn't a well known Bert once say that insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Enough said.
